During its activities on World Television Day, Dialogue and Culture, in collaboration with the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate Sulaymaniyah branch, organized an open discussion for television directors under the title “The role of television is now deteriorating or renewing”. In addition to the television directors, representatives of the Kurdistan Parliament’s Cultural Committee, the head of the Cultural Committee of the Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council, the Director of the Culture committee in Sulaymaniyah and the head of the Metro Center for the Protection of Journalists Rights attended the meeting. The meeting discussed the future of TV in front of the Web TV and Social Media wave in detail. Ultimately, the essential points discussed in the forum are decided to be given to the Cultural Committee of the Kurdistan Parliament as a recommendation.
