The Dialogue and Culture Organization organized an activity for Interfaith dialogue between religions for the seventh year during Interfaith Harmony Week. The activity included an open dialogue between religions, media, and civil society organizations, entitled “The Role of Media and Civil Society Organizations in Building Bridges of Understanding and Harmony among Religions.” Participants in the discussion included the Governor of Sulaymaniyah, the secretary of the Journalists Syndicate of the Sulaymaniyah Branch, representatives of religious affairs, university professors, media experts, journalists, activists of civil society organizations, and representatives of Muslim, Christian, Zoroastrian, Yazidi, Kaka’i, Baha’i, and Sabbi religions. During the discussion, the beautiful inter-religious coexistence in the Kurdistan Region was emphasized, highlighting the importance of the role of media and civil society organizations in communicating this beautiful coexistence of religions to society and the outside world.
