“City of Harmony and Tolerance; Sulaimani, Develops in Peace” dinner held at Ramada Hotel in Sulaimani. DCO in cooperation Sulaimani Governorate Council organized a dinner for enhancing tolerance between people from different backgrounds in Sulaimani on 27th Jan 2017. Almost 220 valuable people from representatives of different religions and ethnicities to politicians from different parties, artists, actors, journalists, bureaucrats and social icons met in the program.
The program started with live concert and dinner meal. After that Mr. Azad Muhammed, Head of governorate council had a welcome speech, then Dr. Rebin Ahmed from DCO gave a speech. Several effective characters gave small speeches about the importance of tolerance in peace building and developing society.
At the end all the guests were called for a familial photo.
