The Dialogue and Culture Organization, in partnership with the College of Islamic Sciences at Sulaymaniyah University, organized an academic symposium entitled “The Role of Scientific Institutions in Promoting Peace and Coexistence. \u201cThe event was held at Sulaymaniyah University and focused on building a peaceful and inclusive society through education and scientific institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panelists included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Professor Dr. Saman Fawzi \u2013 Legal Framework for Communication and Publishing in the Protection of Social Peace<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ms. Zimikitha Mapatheni \u2013 How the Implementation of Zero Discrimination Practices Can Promise a Brighter Future<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Mr. Vernon Aub \u2013 Planning for Peace: The Role of Education in Promoting Tolerance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Dr. Mahdi Qadir Ahmed \u2013 The Role of Scientific Institutions in Promoting Peace and Coexistence: The College of Islamic Sciences as an Example<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium provided an opportunity for academic discussion on the vital role of education and research institutions in fostering peace and coexistence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
